SRX9003906: whole genome sequencing of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from urinary samples
1 ILLUMINA (NextSeq 500) run: 2.6M spots, 762.3M bases, 302.6Mb downloads

Design: sequenced by the Mutualized Platform for Microbiology (Institut Pasteur, Paris, France) using the MagNA Pure 96 Instrument (Roche Diagnostics, Meylan, France) for genomic DNA extraction, and the Nextera XT library kit (Illumina Inc.), the NextSeq 500 sequencing system (Illumina Inc.), and the CLC Genomics Workbench 11 software (Qiagen) for pre-analysis.

Study: Genome sequencing of Pseudomonas aeruginosa urinary isolates
show Abstracthide Abstract
We used whole genome sequencing to investigate the sequential urinary isolates of 7 patients colonized and/or infected by P. aeruginosa, and study within-host P. aeruginosa population diversity at a given time and over time, and we then explored the impact of the genetic variations observed on phenotypic characteristics of the isolates such as fitness and biofilm production.
